Avaia Turns 7!
Wow! What an achievement. Can you believe Avaia turns 7 this month. We are so grateful to all our gorgeous clients, because without you, Avaia wouldn’t exist. Big shout out to the Boss lady, Skye, for always working towards the salon growing and evolving. And the team, our leader Danielle, and all the staff, Jemima, Renee, Olivia, Liv, Chloe and Michael, who are always there to go above and beyond for our clients, creating beautiful hair. Watch this space, as it will be party time in August.
Vegas Baby!
The wondrous Skye and Danielle are leaving the salon again! But for a pretty great reason They were lucky enough to receive a personal invitation to attend the international Goldwell conference in Las Vegas, America. Our beautiful ladies are flying across the world to have the chance to further their skills and careers and bring back a pool of priceless knowledge and information for our lovely clients to enjoy. Unfortunately they will be out of the salon for just over a week (from July 28th to August 7th) but the pain will be worth the pleasure of them coming back! While away on their trip of a life time, Skye will be celebrating her 40th birthday! The A team sends love and best wishes along with the expectation that she will have a little bit too much fun. Don’t worry Skye, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
Bringing Brisbane to its knees...
Along with Dani and Skye, our little apprentices Chloe and Liv are off to Brisbane hair expo at the end of July to expand their skills and improve their knowledge so they can continue to bring quality service and hairstyles to the salon. The girls are off on the 29th of July with our Team advisor, Nicole and will be back the following week! Hopefully they don’t get up to too much mischief while their away...
Another Danyell??
We have a new girl in the salon! Everyone should be excited to meet our new full time senior stylist Danyell! With the same name and same quality of service as our already beloved Danielle, the only difference is the ‘Y’… Why should you love her? Well with 6 years experience and specialising in the art of tape-in extensions, why wouldn’t you? Danyell will be starting in the salon on the 16th of July. Book in now to secure your spot with her or drop in to say hello! She is very excited to join the Avaia Hair family and to meet every beautiful person that walks through our doors.

Fleek Brows and Beauty has finally had its grand opening and is running at full pace! We are so excited to have this beautiful lady and this glamorous experience move in next to us. Because our team is growing, we are in desperate need of a tea and tidy. Ideally a year 11 student who has a passion for hair and would love to do a school based apprentice. Please get them to drop in a resume to the salon.
