Back Safe and Sound
Skye we have missed you!! After her 6 week working holiday, Skye is finally back! Skye was visiting her husband Msaro’s family in Africa and setting up Msaro African Adventures. Keep a look out in the salon soon, for some wonderful African jewellery, that Skye will be selling to help fundraise for their sponsor school in Africa. The school has 940 students and only 16 toilets, so we are working towards providing a better future for these children.
After their time in Africa, Skye & Msaro then headed to Shanghai to launch their business at the Shanghai World Travel Fair!! Turf Girl 2019!
At the start of the month, our beautiful client and friend Madi Green entered into the final stage of the Turf Girl competition!! This amazing young woman placed 1st runner up in the competition and we could not be more proud! A big congratulations goes to Kianna Coyne, who was crowned Miss Turf Girl for 2019!

They’re off Again!
At the start of the month, Skye and Danielle flew to Sydney to attend Goldwell Australia’s national MBE conference! The ladies mixed work with pleasure, being treated like absolute queens while they were away, whilst also learning so much to bring back to the salon! Having time away, to learn from salons all over the country and bring new ideas to the industry is what sets Avaia Hair apart from the rest!

You know we get very busy very easily, which can sometimes set you back when you’re thinking about getting your hair done for a social event you have coming up! In the next two months we have River Sessions on the 29th of June, Mackay Amateur Races on the 25th of May and The Mackay Cup on the 13th of July. Styles can range from $20 for braids, $60 for curls or $80 for an Upstyle. These dates will book up quickly so call in to secure your spot to look fabulous!!
